Actress Marcia Gay Harden Files for Divorce

Marcia Gay Harden filed for divorce from her husband Thaddaeus Scheel.

The couple has been married for almost 15 years. They have two daughters and one son: Eulala (age 13), Julitta (age 7), and Hudson (age 7).

Harden won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Lee Krasner in the 2001 film “Pollock” and a Tony in 2009 for “God of Carnage.”

Playmate of the Year Gets Temporary Restraining Order Against Hugh Hefner’s Son

Claire Sinclair, who was named Playboy magazine’s 2011 Playmate of the Year, has obtained an emergency restraining order against Marston Hefner, the 21 year old son of Hugh Hefner.

Hefner was arrested on Sunday at the home they shared in Pasadena, Calif. after allegedly attacking her. reported that the police observed bruises and red marks on Sinclair’s body, but Hefner denied hitting her.

Hefner has been charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and was released on $20,000 bail. The couple has been dating since August 2010.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand Settle Divorce

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have reached a divorce settlement.

Brand reportedly waived his right to receive his right to receive spousal support from Perry.  Perry requested that her maiden name, Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, be restored.

Perry and Brand were married in India in October 2010.  Brand filed for divorce on December 30th.

“CSI” Creator’s Wife Seeks $54K in Alimony and Child Support to Support Lavish Lifestyle

The estranged wife of “CSI” creator Anthony Zuiker is seeking $54,282 in spousal and child support and demanding that he pay her $1,000,000 to cover her attorney fees for their divorce proceedings in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Jennifer Zuiker called off the couple’s marriage in April 2011. She claims that Zuiker earns $25,000 per episode of CSI (there are three separate series currently on the air) and his annual income from CSI alone is approximately $1.6 million.

Jennifer contends that Zuiker has not paid her a dime in support since she filed for divorce. She estimated her own monthly expenses at $158,827, including $91,882 in personal living expenses, $5,236 in children’s personal expenses, and $61,710 in costs related to the houses.

A court hearing has been set for March.

Former NFL Star Warren Sapp $728K Behind in Spousal and Child Support

The ex-wife of former NFL defensive tackle Warren Sapp says that he is $728,100 behind in his spousal and child support payments.

Warren and Jamiko Sapp were divorced in 2007. Sapp was ordered to pay her $15,000 in monthly child support for their two children and $45,000 per month in spousal support.

Jamiko claims that Sapp hasn’t been following the child and spousal support provisions of the judgment since March 2010, alleging that he has been paying random amounts each month. She also claims that he failed to pay any support at all for two months. Jamiko has filed a motion seeking enforcement of the judgment.

Sapp filed a motion in October 2011 to lower his spousal and child support payments.

Man Pleas No Contest for Beating Wife at Divorce Hearing

A Florida man pled no contest to battery charges for viciously beating his wife at a court hearing.

Paul Henry Gonzalez and Catherine Scott were in the chambers of a Broward County judge in April 2011 when Gonzalez became irate and attacked Scott, leaving her with a broken nose, fractured jaw, and a concussion.

Scott testified at a bond hearing in June 2011 that Gonzalez had abused her in the past and had pushed her, shoved her into walls, and dragged her. Gonzalez was jailed on a $1 million bond.

Gonzalez is scheduled to be sentenced on February 22nd.

One of California’s First Same-Sex Marriage Couples Files for Divorce

The first same-sex couple to be married in Los Angeles County is getting divorced after three and a half years of marriage.

Robin Tyler and Diane Olson challenged a state ban on same-sex marriage. In 2008, the California Supreme Court ruled the ban was unconstitutional. Tyler and Olson were among 18,000 gay couples that were married during the six-month window when same-sex marriage was legal in California. The California State Supreme Court’s decision was subsequently overturned by voters with the passage of Proposition 8.

Tyler reportedly filed for divorce on January 25th.

Wife of Yankees GM Files for Divorce

The wife of Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has filed for divorce. News of the divorce comes one day after prosecutors charged a woman with stalking Cashman and extorting money from him over an extramarital affair.

Mary Cashman filed for divorce on Friday in Stamford, Connecticut. The couple has reportedly been separated for a year.

Halle Berry Embroiled in Bitter Child Custody Battle with Ex-Boyfriend

Halle Berry and her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey are still locked in a bitter custody battle over their 3 year old daughter Nahla.

Berry and the Canadian model have been fighting over custody since they split up in 2010 and recently returned to court over her request for a restraining order to keep him away from their daughter. Berry’s request for a restraining order was denied pending the outcome of a criminal investigation into allegations that he pushed a court-appointed nanny who was holding Nahla at the time.

Berry was reportedly ordered to pay Aubrey’s legal bills for the custody dispute because of their disparity in income. The court also ordered Berry and Aubrey to attend parenting classes.
